The Om Home

Most of us would agree that we take inspiration where we find it; we never know when that "light bulb" moment will come. For Diane Hageman, her life-changing epiphany would strike during an early morning cup of coffee and morning meditation. "I thought it would be great if a community of like-minded people could come together to help each other on their own individual spiritual path," says Hageman. "Suddenly, I envisioned a community like the Om Home. This spiritual center was founded to help people enhance their awareness in a safe and loving environment. Little did Diane know what the Om Home would evolve into or how it would all come about.

The Om Home has had its own journey into becoming much more than the original vision that Diane had those many years ago. The intention was and continues to be, to create a loving community, where spiritually minded people can learn and grow together - where all judgments and dogma are left behind. The Om Home offers many groups, classes, teachers, healers and resources for those who seek a spiritual path leading to peace, harmony and an oneness with spirit.

Diane's own journey has also gone beyond that first vision. A lifelong study of spirituality, and mysticism finally lead her to find her passion and joy in the Shamanic traditions. Diane completed Dreamtime LLC's Medicine Wheel and the Healers training. As a Shamanic Energy Practitioner and Shamanic Energy Healer, Diane knows each person's journey through this lifetime is sacred and she feels honored to be of service to help each client live their life fully with wellness for mind, body and spirit.

The Om Home, opened its doors in February 2007 and in 2010 moved to its current home in Mid-town Reno at 1221 Haskell St. Suite B.

The Om home offers a variety of metaphysical classes, workshops, group meditations and study groups and also has a gift shop.
